Description
Prerequisite: CHM 303 Continuation of CHM 303.
Includes detailed descriptions of functional groups, alcohols, ethers, aldehydes and ketones, amines, carboxylic acids and esters, general reactions and properties of aliphatic compounds, aromatic hydrocarbon structure, naming aromatic compounds, reaction of aromatic hydrocarbons, polymers-macromolecules, and an introduction to biochemistry. This course consists of three lectures and two laboratory sessions per week.
