BIO320 Neuroscience, 3.0 Credit Hours
Preequisite: BIO 114
This course examines brain function across all scles, from cells to systems, emphasizing modern concepts and approoaches to the study of the nervous system. It provides understanding of the structure of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, nerves and synaptic transmission. The course covers processes based on btain function, location , organs, and systems. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the brain and how the brain is involved in systematic activities. The course has 3 lectures per week. There is no lab for this courses is three semester credit hours.
