Description
This course introduces the student to the nature of legal rights and obligations as they relate to business. It covers the origin and development of the law as well as the role of courts and legal procedures. Introduction to legal reasoning and legal writing, and issues of commercial liability and transactions. Emphasis is on the fundamentals of contracts used throughout all business negotiations and the Uniform Commercial Code.
