Prerequisite: CHM 303 and 304
Introductory study of the chemical basis of life. The chemistry of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids provides a foundation for the study of metabolism in plants and animals. This course consists of three lectures and two laboratory sessions per week.
