Who is your professor this semester?

My name is Eddie Yancey, aka Dr. Y. and I've been teaching on the college and university level for more than 18 years.

I am profoundly versatile in both pedagogical and andragogical learning via Africana Studies, the Humanities, Philosophy (Critical Thinking); Philosophy Critical Thinking; American History; African American History; HUM Iⅈ Honors HUM Iⅈ HUM II/Criminal Justice Cohort; World Religions; English; World Cultures; Logic; Ethnic Studies; Mythology; Methods in Science; Arts, Music and Literature; Origins of Western Civilization; etc.

I have an earned Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Africana Studies from Clark Atlanta University and will complete my second PhD in the Humanities by 2021; I also have an earned Masters in World Religions & Philosophy from Morehouse School of Religion (ITC), and a Bachelor’s in Social Science/Sociology from Illinois State University.

In addition, I have taught at several other universities, including the Allen University, University of Memphis, Morehouse College, American Intercontinental University, Georgia Perimeter College, Southwest Tennessee Community College, and Clark Atlanta University.

In addition, I am an avid student of the Law; that is, I hope to extend my intellectual repertoire by attending Law School in the near future.
