Description
This course is designed to help students create publishable work in a genre of their own choosing. In addition to many shorter writing assignments, each student will create one major creative piece in a genre they have chosen and will participate actively in workshops where they share pieces with peers in order to give and receive feedback. Students will learn how to revise their own work with respect to the conventional standards of form and quality necessary for submission and publication. They will complete the course with an understanding of protocols and potential venues for publishing their completed work.
