Case Management and Problem Solving (SSC 203)
Term: 2018-2019 - Fall Semester
This course introduces students to interviewing skills in non-crisis settings. communication skills learned in the course include relation-building techniques within a problem-solving model. Additionaly, student lern skills to identify client strenghths and to work with resistant clients. Students are required to role play, videotape and critique skills learned in the course. The goal of this course is to expose the student to a variety of perspectives and techniques used by all human service workers.
