Provides an overview that deals with a wide range of legal and policy issues in the workplace. They must develop an understanding of the rules and regulations of their job requirements. This course is a study of legal procedures, law and society, classifications and systems of law, the tribunals administering justice and their actions, contracts, sales, transfer of titles, rights and duties of the parties, conditions, and warranties. Understanding the relationship between business and society; identifying stakeholders and issues; the theoretical basis of business ethics, ethics in management and leadership, the concept of social responsibility and practices, ownership, and governance of a corporation.
