Description
This class will focus on helping students research and compose feature news stories for publication in magazines or other news outlets. Students will learn how to develop ideas for features, to pitch stories to editors by writing effective query letters, and to research, draft, and revise feature-length stories. The class will offer students the opportunity to workshop drafts of their stories as well as analyze examples of features from professional publications.
