Description
The Allen University Jazz Ensemble performs jazz standards and contemporary works of various styles including swing, blues, and Latin. The ensemble is comprised of students from all areas of study who play wind and percussion instruments and will perform as University ambassadors to both church and community functions as well. Students learn jazz repertoire, ensemble balance, and the best methods for listening to instrumentalists proximities to one's self for accurate blending.
