Prerequisite: MUS 244

This course studies the history of Music from 1730 to the early 1900s through style analysis, visual and listening examples of compositions, and the sociocultural background of each era. Through written and listening exams, students will be able to identify Classical & Romantic era composers, their compositions, and write about music.
