Allen University Landed in the
Top 10 of HBCU Ranking for 2023!
Online Schools Guide has ranked Allen University #8 in the 15 Top HBCU Hidden Gem Colleges for 2023. Not only was Allen ranked in the Top 10, Allen University is the highest ranking HBCU in the State of South Carolina!
Online School Guide defines Hidden Gem Colleges as "some of the best smaller colleges and universities offering quality education and online programs. These schools offer various academic degrees, from associate to doctoral degrees, and many extracurricular activities. In addition, they provide a unique educational experience for students, offering a culturally rich environment and a sense of community." As to how the rankings came about, OSG stated, "The editors at Online Schools Guide found smaller HBCU schools with an excellent academic reputation that also offer online degree programs. Then, we ranked the programs based on the cost of attendance and the number of online offerings."
"We are proud of this recognition as it aligns with the vision of the University to be a leading institution of higher education with an established precedence of excellence for both undergraduate and graduate students." - Dr. Ernest C. McNealey, President, Allen University.
