Online Schools Guide has ranked Allen University #8 in the 15 Top HBCU Hidden Gem Colleges for 2023. Not only was Allen ranked in the Top 10, Allen University is the highest ranking HBCU in the State of South Carolina!

Online School Guide defines Hidden Gem Colleges as "some of the best smaller colleges and universities offering quality education and online programs. These schools offer various academic degrees, from associate to doctoral degrees, and many extracurricular activities. In addition, they provide a unique educational experience for students, offering a culturally rich environment and a sense of community."
